Colour Theme Ideas
So today I've been thinking a lot about what colour scheme our wedding should have. It's quite important, especially at a budget wedding, because it will tie all the odd bits and bobs together. At the moment I really fancy a spring wedding and if we do end up getting married in the spring, the colours need to be bright, fresh and sunny.
Green and Peach
I really love this colour combination. But maybe its a bit too peachy?

Purple and Green
This is lovely too. Stronger colours and very feminine. Not sure Mr would approve of it being so girly.

Green, Brown and White
I think this is one that would please my fiance as its based on his favourite colours. I feel something is missing from this scheme. Maybe if you add some gold?

Invitations
Even if we haven't set an actual budget yet, I know it's going to be a so-called 'budget wedding'. My mind is already thinking of ways of keeping the costs down and one of the ways highly recommended online seem to be to do your own invites. I like the idea as I'm a very creative person and they will be unique. However, I'm willing to bet that you will get very bored and annoyed after you've made 15 and still have 15 or more to go...

Veil or no Veil
Since David proposed, I have started to picture myself walking down the aisle. The picture is a bit blurry at the moment, but as more and more thing will come together through planning, I'm sure it will only get clearer. However I am already pretty certain that I can see a veil in the final picture. I think Im very traditional at heart and even though many brides seem to opt out of this option, wearing a veil, to me, is the ultimate bridal accessory.

Let the planning commence
This is a blog written by me, Sanna Rydin, to help me plan my upcoming wedding. A place where I can gather my thoughts and ideas. We are yet to set a date, so it still doesnt feel quite real to me. We are however thinking about spring/summer 2012. That leaves me between 15-20 months of planning. It seems like plenty of time. Too much time even. But we do want to try and save up some money before the big day, which is why we aren't planning a wedding this year. If it was up to me and I had an unlimited amount of money, I'd have the wedding this spring. Sadly, we both earn minimum wage, so we do need the extra time. All that matters is that I'm going to marry the most amazing guy in the world. And this is the blog were you will be able to follow our journey towards the Big Day.
